COVID-19 Check-In-Information – Tested – Recovered – Vaccinated!
Due to the guidelines of the government we would like to remind you that a proof of a low epidemological risk (§1 Abs. 2 COVID-19-ÖV) is necessary for the check-in. Via the link you can find out the exact information about the guidelines.
Our check-in terminal makes it possible, to have a contact-less check-in.
Our opening hours are currently: Monday through Sunday 07:00 am – 11:00 am and 01:30 pm – 09:30 pm

Family History
The MAX 70 is the consequential and logical completion of a business with decades of family tradition.
For that matter, the history of our original house begins in 1954.
At that time, our grandmother bought a small cider tavern in Maxglan, which was still very rural at the time, and turned it into the popular Junior Inn with overnight accommodation, which over time developed into the Bed & Breakfast Hotel Junior. Even at that time, the landlady and her daughter were very progressive. There was running hot water in all rooms and thus an exclusive “room service” that only a few hotels were able to offer their guests at that time.
In May 2018 our new hotel, the MAX 70 *** Superior with 49 rooms was added.
We are now the third generation to run both hotels.
We are actively supported by our children Raffaela and Dominik and – last but not least – by our professional and friendly staff in every situation.
We have always remained true to the innovative line – personal, loving service paired with modernization and future thinking.
The Hotel Junior with 18 rooms has now been expanded to include the MAX 70 through the purchase of a nearby office building that has been converted to be a hotel.
The additional, the new and much larger MAX 70 offers 49 rooms with the highest comfort, but also the usual hospitality that has characterized Das Junior for over 60 years.
We strive to offer our guests, whether in the MAX 70 or in Das Junior, a pleasant and relaxing stay.
In 2020 we decided to introduce an over-brand for our hotels, the Wendl Hotels. Who knows what else can beexpected in the future. But what always comes first for us – before brands, names and anything else – is you, our guests. You will definitely find warmth and cosiness in our house, among many other things.
